What do men (or women for that matter) think when we put X's at the end of posts or texts etc...

I have so many people asking me this!

Personally as I am a miserable type of person (female), I find the kissing thing odd. The only people I want to receive or give kisses to are close friends and family. In the same way I never sign work cards with the word love on them. I like and respect most of my colleagues, but I don't love them. People who sign everything with love on them, obviously feel very different.

Just a gesture of affection on my part when I put them. Just means I like you more than the average Jo Bloggs on the street.

Well you can't put a smiley face up, so I think an "x" is the next best thing.

I've worked out that one "x" normally comes from a female friend, two "xx" from a really good female friend, "xxx" normally ends in a good night
