I moved to U.S. recently and my name is Nazgul. Nobody can spell or pronounce it. I am looking for a feminine shortened name to help my daily communication. What are you suggestions?

Do not like naza.....

How about Una [3 initials from your name]
trendy and sophisticated

Well, it may be an idea to keep the first initial or two, so maybe Nancy would fit the bill.
But your given name only has 2 syllables, surely eventually people will get used to it? I have a very unusual surname so I have some idea of how you feel. There's no way I'm changing it though. Good luck.
try just Naz - hard to misspell or mispronounce. It's a pretty name in Farsi but to Americans it probably just means the undead from Lord of the Rings.
Naz is a rapper here in US. How about Nazzy (like snazzy) not Nazi though.
How about Nia or Azzi ?
Nina, Nadine, Nadia, Nayna ?
Nazgul equals a Ringwraith, according to Tolkien!

How about Natasha, which is a lovely name ... trouble is, itll probably be shortened to Nat, which isnt so nice I think ... King Cole or an insect.

Tasha is an alternative which could work well?
One drawback Ive just noticed is that if you call yourself Natasha or Tasha, people might say Bless you when you introduce yourself.
You could try Nat perhaps , which is also short for Natalie .
xx
