Islam - voilent religion?

Now the reading is clear on the wall , and we can see it with the bare eyes that Islam is responsible for majority of conflicts , wars and terrorist attacks of last few decades (if not few centuries). We need not to say Militant Islam or Fascist Islam or Voilent Islam or ... Islam is responsible for terrorism.
Islam itself is Militant , Violent , Destructive and Intolerant in nature. Islam is nothing but a medieval cult of intolerance, hatred, bigotry, incitement, plunder, rape, murder, bloodshed and death, and it is engulfing the whole civilisation into its tentacles . We have to free our societies with plague or cancer of Islamism. am I right?

Naomi- thanks for that thread. How can you prove they were killed by Muslims. There are others out there who can speak Arabic and they are not Muslims. Simple thing to understand is that who benefited. All these things happened when people all over the world, including West started turning against American Invasion. Osama Bin Laden, if you see him somewhere call me I will kill him before any one else. He is american agent. Al- Qaeeda is Amarican own invention. Now people in America hve proved that American govt was involved in 9/11. You are talking about crimes of individuals. who I am sure will suffer in the hell. what about state terrorism, where millions are killed, mostly muslims, Kashmir, Chachenia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Sudan, All killed in those countries can not be terrorists.

Naomi. there are about 5 people in all, I don't know why media gives them that much importance. I thinks even their families do not agree with them. I told you that you can not judge Religion by the act of handful people, Otherwise I am fed up by saying this again and again. That more people have been killed by non-muslims than by Muslims. If you do not agree with this then you do not know history. I think Even if we start from 1400 years ago, still Muslims have not matched one and only Hitler. And I don't think he was Muslim.

Perhaps their deaths are irrelevant to you, and you would prefer these things to go unreported so that no one knows what's happening? You've already asked how I can prove that Muslims killed these men, so you clearly doubt their guilt. Hard for you to believe is it? I don't know why it should be, since thanks to the media, the world does know what lengths these fanatics will go to. Anyone who can fly planes into buildings killing thousands of innocent people, or put a bombs on trains full of ordinary people going about their daily business, or brutally hack someone's head off, has to be a fanatic, and in my book, a fanatic is nothing less than a madman.

I learned a lot about you from our discussion over the past couple of days on Waldo's R&S thread about a secular state, and I can tell you, Keyplus, that you have managed to change my mind about Islam's agenda. I try to be fair, and I try to be rational, and therefore I've argued on AB in support of Muslims, but I won't be doing it again. You're an educated man - educated at Oxford - and if you think as you do, I have to wonder how the less educated and more easily influenced think. It's a frightening thought.

I think you need to all take a step back and realise that ALL forms or extremism is bad...
the IRA are christians, the al-quada are muslim....there wasnt alot of difference in what they did....
they essintially both used terroism as a tool to get their point accross.....which is wrong...
It is hard to post this, as i am irish, and fully back teh ira's beliefs, however....i am totally against how they went about it.....
they people you are all talking about are extremists, and thereofre are ALL in teh same catagory....
my tolerance stops where muslims dictate to us that we cannot do certain things as it offends the (father xmas, xmas lights, wearing crusifixes etc etc)
i think what everyone needs to realise is that you will get extremists in every religion and every creed and colour...
