passports whot a laugh if you dnt get your picture right or missed an x out the in box or cant remember your old passport number etc all gets sent back. you live here all your life and if you get it wrong you cant have a pasport until its sorted. makes me laugh if you havent got one people are allowed to come in but if you have lived here all your life got one they wont let you out whot a joke

It is the price of them I find amazing - just had to renew them for my 2 kids and it cost me �92 for 5 years - that means it actually costs more than an adult passport pro rata . I am sure that my two little boys pose a massive security risk and should have to undergo a full check.

On a brighter note, i did manage to fill the forms in correctly and did not get them returned ;-P

lol its not their fault that "foreigners" can fill out their passport forms with no problems whilst you can't! People who come in have managed to successfully negotiaite the passport form filling in, something which you seem not to be able to do.

of course if you would prefer, they could relax all the rules to make it easier for thick people to get a passport, then it makes it easier for people to get them fraudulently as well

i wasn't aware that being thick and being a terrorist went hand in hand. I don't think the forms are particularly designed to foil terrorists, I think that they have tried to make a "one size fits all" form and that makes it more complicated than it needs to be. I hardly think that the complicatedness or otherwise of the form is put there as a security control. However much we disagree with their methods, terrorists are usually not thick in the strict sense.

Hi annie, even though your children only got a 5 year passport, once that expires they get a 5 year extension for free but you have to send in new photos. Its because children change so quickly in ten years that they wouldn't be able to travel on the passports easily unless the photo was updated.

My passport just expired and I've found another rip off. I'm getting married abroad so I have to pay �72 for a new passport. However once married it costs another �72 to change the name on the passport and only a maximum of 9 months unused time can be carried over. So I have to pay for two passports in the space of a year :-(
