You positivly went into orbit.
But nothing less than H has done before now.
LDO, was this real or one of your suppose scenarios?

if real you shouldve been charged by police.

I DIDNT MARK THE OTHE INDIVIDUAL ...... COS A POLICE OFFICER ASKED . THE OTHER PERSON , IF HE HAD ANY VISABLEV MARKS ,,,, IN HIM ( ANOTHER POLICE OFFICER, WHO KNEW THE OTHER PERSON , SAID HE WAS A YOB - he didnt actually come out with it < but he thought the other person < who we will refer to as T., had something like this coming to him - his back side got used as door mat ) - AS I SAID , I HAVE A BRUISED JAW ,( THIS WAS REAL - appaerntly he was on his way < to watch the Greyhounds .... THE STADIUM is about to close in AUGUST ) ,,,,,, ITS THE TRUTH EVEN ABOUT ONE OF THE POLICE MANS COMMENT , ABOUT THE OTHER PERSON INVOLVED ...
If you grabbed him first, it should be you who was arrested. The fact that you and the policeman didn't like the other guy doesn't matter.

but did he use reasonable force , i aimed punches at him, but hey missed ,,,, his punch connected with me ,,,,,, then the other person , went on the floor ,...... blah blah ........ (i also put a claimm in against him through county court re- cost of repairs , which were undertaken , through "had an accident not you fault " type .... accident management companies ,,,,,, ---- blah blah (i later founfd out that his girl friend was at my school two years below me ) ..
I'm sorry but none of that babble makes sense.

From what I can make out, you grabbed him first which in my book means you're the one at fault and can hardly complain about being hit.
you had him by the neck and didnt even know the police didnt like him.

i still think you were in the wrong, if you had anyone by the throat then they are using reasonable force if they try and thump you.

he ended up on tbe floor ........ his pucnch connected with my face , i inititated contact , first , by grabbing by the scruff of the neck ..... ive pinted that out in reverse order (it all started with him in his car shunting my old banger ) - my spelling isnt great , but i cant really go thru the sequence again, ive even pointed it out in reverse order ,,,
Exactly, if you had grabbed me , I would have belted you too. You deserved all you got.
MMM You are in the wrong if u started it and so is H when he went off at some bloke in a Jag that cut him up on a roundabout and nearly had him off his bike.
The bloke got out ranting and raving and H put his crash helmet to use.
He shouldn.t have done it. But I can't say I would not have done the same in a moment of anger.
Question Author
i think if some one grabbed my by the neck , id try to break the hold, and then se what happens ..... i wouldnt go staright in with fists , unless he was holding something ......
-- answer removed --
Well that's you. If someone grabbed me by the neck I would belt them, as would a LOT of people.
Are you under the impression that what you did was self defence?

A good rule of thumb is that it's hard to claim self defence if someone's on the ground.

Or do you just think that if someone hits you first you're entitled to beat them up until you get bored or tired or both?

'Cause I'm pretty sure you aren't!

dont get angry get even ......
if you had accidently hit someones car and they got out of their vehicle so fired up that they grabbed you by the neck you are saying youd try and talk them down rather than try and hit them to get them to release their hold?

somehow i dont believe that
Question Author
knobby ,,,, no havent changed to slum mlandlord ,,,,,,i would be quite recognisable .....due to my poor spelling .......etc ........ you ,......know my typing isnt ...any ,......good ....... regards to to you
You can claim self defence if you strike someone first if you have a realistic fear of your own safety.

You know the sort of case where someone grabs you after a road accident.

I think you'd loose in court - you know.
