Good bars in London

Does anyone have any recommendations for good bars in the Covent Garden/Soho area please?

Some people like quiet bars, with good real ales and specialist continental lagers. Others want crowded bars with music pumping out. Some people want traditional British pub grub, other want Thai food, or no food at all. So what do you want?
For what it's worth, the Canadian bar on Maiden Lane in Covent Garden (The Maple Leaf) is lively and often rather noisy, with big screens showing mainly Canadian & US sports. I sometimes go there for the comfy chairs, Molson lager and decent meat loaf.

The Lemon Tree, on Bedfordbury (also in Covent Garden) is totally different. It's a small, traditional boozer (with real ale) which also offers some great Thai food:
