What would atheists do if no other religions came on here? Would they just
argue amongst themselves?

Atheism isn't a religion - but I suspect non-believers would continue to discuss the negative effect of religion upon this planet.
Arguing amongst ourselves should at least guarantee a more original, less cut and paste, better quality argument ;)
We might just turn into Witnesses to bug the proverbial out of the others with moribund lack of logic - oh and to come with some more original pathetic insults.
That wouldn't work, DT. We don't get answers from those who aren't JWs either.
lol
Any suggestions jno?
If there was just one world religion formed tomorrow, how long would it be before a hundred separate splinter groups formed and started murdering one another due to trivial differences in opinion?
For sure we would. Atheism isn't a common front at all but on here the utter idiocy of most posts from religionists causes it to appear that way.

If the religionist posts were original, logical (in so far as there is logic in religion), and thought provoking then there would probably be more splits in opinion amongst non-believers on here, as it is we can all see the same basic flaws in the posts and we respond to those first and invariably the religionist poster does not have the nous or knowledge to move the 'debate' forwards.
God, in His infinite wisdom, created atheists so that believers would have someone else to argue with so as to prevent them from wiping each other off the face of the Earth and created believers to keep atheists to preoccupied to engage in their second most favourite activity . . . eating babys!

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1:32 Then on the seventh day, having rested, God saith onto Himself, "This is boring." so then, atheists and believers, created He them.
We'd probably end debating various philosophical theories. That's what people tend to do when they have time on their hands and are not shackled with the ball and chain of religious dogma. Unfortunately, this section of AB has become bogged down with religious proselytisers who are not interested in debate – they are interested in 'spreading the word', often with no regard for the subject under discussion.
Who says they dont?I imagine there are seikhs , hindus and other religions on here.Im sure the amount of racist posts lead them to keep it quiet.
^ “... Im sure the amount of racist posts lead them to keep it quiet...”

Eh?
If you were a muslim or from an ethnic minority would you publicise it here?
I certainly wouldnt.
^ Are you attempting to equate a robust argument against a person's religious beliefs with racism?
Race and religion are related and connected surely?
Though not exclusively .
Dont atheists disbelieve in any god? Or are they selective in their atheism?

a·the·ist (th-st) n. One who disbelieves or denies the existence of God or gods.

As i suspected im correct.
^ Race and religion are entirely exclusive. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

Oh dear. I would advise that you go back to the shallows of Chatterbank. You're clearly out of your depth here.
You say potatoe i say tomatoe. Are atheists more argumentative than religious nuts?
