What do I think? I think that some of the pat answers here could have been cut + pasted from the atheists catechism.
What do I believe? This says it much better that I ever could.
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only- begotten, ...

Really?
And that wine becomes blood?
and bread becomes meat?
and that carpenters rise from the dead?
Do I sense doubt creeping in?

Sandy, //I suppose thanks are due to all the AB atheists for setting me on the path to belief.//
I despair! The abandonment of your intellect to irrational belief is someone else's fault - but where religion is concerned that's par for the course, because everything is always someone else's fault. What little devils those atheists are!

//I suppose thanks are due to all the AB atheists for setting me on the path to belief.//(Sandy).. Can I take it that you haven't reached the end of the path? Is that when you die or when you finally lose touch with reality?
I expect you can find an answer in the bible which will snip out beautifully and with the help of a spot of glue will be appreciated by ABers as a masterpiece of buck passing. ;-)

Khandro, no I haven't tried a one week retreat. I know several people who have been on retreats, they seem to do it because they have some crisis of faith. My lack of faith doesn't seem to give me any problems. There may be many reasons why I should go on a retreat but as I am unaware of them I will give it a miss.
