as depicted in the bibble and is good to all Men, would it then not be sinful for Religion to build costly opulent places of worship when just a stable or even an open field would be sufficient to gather? The money saved could be used to help those less fortunate.

Of course the Catholic Church is a total disgrace as I have said earlier. But they were dealt with by Henry VIII in the now UK. If you bother to read ALL my comments above you will see my views. But, though I'm against all religions, I am tolerant to those of poor suckered lay-people of opposite opinions or beliefs. In other words I have addressed Wildwood's question. I think yours and others move to bl**dy stupid discussion of Rolex watches seems to be a trivial distraction from Wildwood's major point. This is how I saw this discussion moving when I advised against "an anticatholic crusade". THE C of E IS BEING LET OFF THE HOOK THOUGH THIS IS THE ONLY ONE WE BRITS CAN REALLY DEAL WITH. It should not be the UK's estalished church. Neither the Monarch or Parliament should be it's "defender". I should be interested in Wildwood's view as to whether he/she meant the topic to move this way. If you, naomi, or anyone else wants me to f**k off, I will as it's getting into tiresome trivia.
Solvitquick. Oh dear. Not happy with the way the thread is progressing, eh? It's just an idea, but why not post your own question outlining your own considerable and very valid concerns, which appear to extend far beyond the remit of this question? Perhaps then you’ll get the discussion you’re looking for.
And incidentally, I’m sure your suggested departure is the last thing on anyone’s mind. It certainly hadn’t crossed mine.
