I do Not believe in God; despite my education which was in the Bible College of Wales.

Consequently, I say to those who are believers that, he/she is like an indifferent parent who allows its children to completely misbehave without any form of discipline being exercised.

It's a slow-acting spell but it seems to have worked for the nonce. Checked my cornflake box, he ain't there, although I detected strange emanations from my Shredded Wheat box so may be in for a surprise in the morning. Makes a change from those silly little plastic toys they used to put in in the 50s anyway.
I must have missed the bit that said 'blessed are the petulant and sarcastic'.
Ludwig, God's logging it all in his Big Book of Bad Deeds. ;o)
As far as I know, a man named Jesus who claimed to have all sorts of weird superpowers died over 2000 years ago. I have no reason to believe that he is now present and hiding.
if you want to see...you will see........simple!
"the interest I have to believe a thing is no proof that such a thing exists." Voltaire. on Paswager.

Yes the Atheist bullies are out. Yet again a theist making accusations but priving to be a hypercrit.

"It's a slow-acting spell but it seems to have worked for the nonce"

"is that the best you can do?"
Voltaire. on Pascals wager.
God is not hiding . He is everywhere . All around us . We just cannot see him .
sheranudeep, you took the words right out of my mouth!

“Believing in God is as much like falling in love as it is making a decision. Love is both something that happens to you and something you decide upon.”
When compared with love, falling for religion is like falling in love with a psychotic control freak. Certainly our choices about religion it should be a conscious decision.

Religion teaches to abrogate the responsibility of using our sensibilities to understand the world and indulge in elitist prejudice driven by hypocritical bigotry.

Faith is not the virtue some would have us believe.
There has been no greater comparison of the nature of the relationship with God in the Abrahamic religions and that of falling in love with a pshychotic. It is published on ths page:

To those who believe in God, I ask the following'

"If God is responsible for all goodness which exists, whom should we blame for all the evil"

Please refrain from telling me that it is the Devil or that God has given us all freewill. If God is all powerful and loving, (as believers would wish me to acknowledge) then he/she/it could soon put matters right for us all.

Might save a lot of arguments and thereby prove the existence of a supreme being.

God isn't hiding it's you who are hiding from him.You cant though, he is
omnipotent. He is in all creation.

In which case cupid...I am hiding from a God who is responsible for all the evil which exists in the world.

Ron.
Ron, God speaking is geographical about 2,000+ years ago it was the middle east, this appeared to go on in very sparse bursts up until about 600 years ago, when the memory man heard enough to write it all down in a book. He may have had a diversion to some English and French knights at some time.

At the moment he appears to be speaking exclusively to fat Americans in the southern states
If you blame God [that you don't believe in for all the evil in the world] who do
you think is responsible for all the good?
Cupid, some people can be 'good' without being blackmailed into it by a 'loving' god. Goodness is not an invention of god, it is a human concept, just as evil is.
> a man named Jesus who claimed to have all sorts of weird superpowers

What utter nonsense! Jesus claimed nothing of the sort...
PERHAPS Jesus INVENTED HIS OWN PASCALS WAGER (AND LOST THE BET).
Note, especially to wildwood, Jesus never wrote a word to say he could perform miracles, that was for others about 300 years later and transmutated via the Greeks. Even then he was alledgedly was only messenger. Jesus definitely existed but the so-called miracles could be performed by any modern professional "magician" or "medium". He was an Essene Jew and almost definitely was really part of an anti-roman gang, along with his brother, John, who was killed at Massada. The best trick of all was surviving the cross and hiding or more likely emigrating (with his wife, mistress and family perhaps). France, Spain or India are the favourites so far. Maybe that was the Secret dicovered by the Knights Templar who were paid off by the Pope until they were richer than the King of France and had to be killed off. I have never read that accused plagiarising novellist D.Brown if he has stolen and published any of above.
Sorry for going on BUT JUST QUERYING THE ASSUMPTION THAT GOD DISAPPEARED 2000 YEARS AGO. HE HAS BEEN HIDING SINCE BEFORE MANKIND EXISTED (pmsl).
And there I was, thinking that he was living, or hiding as it is described, in Barking.
