Image Of The Koran

Hi, I'm doing a quiz for an Asian group soon, and have been asked to add some spiritual questions, with no restriction as to specific religion. I know that images of the Prophet are not allowed in Islam, and that there are restrictions on some other things as well. Does anybody know if an image of The Koran, on the same slide as a picture of The Bible would cause offence?

Some friends of mine were in Mecca about 15 years ago and were able to go to the factory where it's made, they were given little samples - it was certainly made in the locality in the 1990s!

Thanks for all your help everybody. The quiz was last Saturday, there were Hindus, Moslems and Christians there, along with unbelievers like yours truly. It was a brilliant evening and I used an image of the Koran alongside one of the Bible and nobody was in the least offended.

The question was that in the 20th century, apart from the Bible and the Quran, which book sold most copies? (Most of them were sold in the 1960s).

Thanks for that Naomi. And Sandy Roe's right Mao's Little Red Book sold untold millions. Various claims have been made but, as with so many of these things, it's difficult to put an exact number on any of these three. Suffice it to say that the number's huge.
