I live in the Big town with many churches and nomination

live in this town for 14 years

and never been contacted by any Christian organize .

But But--- I have been called on by Jehovah's Witnesses many times.

thetaliesin, That's the Church of Latter Day Saints, also known as the Mormons. The plates weren't reputed to be invisible - several people claimed to have seen them.

I know the difference between joeboes and (most) other bible following branches of christianity, joeboes take it literally and refuse to see that perhaps a lot is meant to be taken symbolically.

Yes I do.... they are the ones that send two morons around on Christmas day........CHRISTMAS DAY..... just as we were sitting down to our lunch. I didn't bother telling them what i thought..... I think they got the general gist of it from the door being shut in their faces as they started their spiel.
