Sharia Law should as the lady in question says, have no place in Britain, no place at all. However more Sharia courts are being established, and they are not simply for matters of dispute in marriages, as she rightly says.
Having watched most of the thought.tv 5 minute slots conclude that those for seem to outweigh those against.

keyplus what the woman was saying is what many of us have been saying for so long, the women are undervalued, treated badly, have few if any rights in law, this is not the case if you live in Britain, and live under the rules, law of this country. and not some halfbaked ideology, that no one wants here.
I watched the series, did forget to post and ask people's opinion, and glad that Naomi has posted it.

My little birdie that is the reason I just ignore you. This time I provided a link because you asked what you have never asked and we have never discussed before. But you are doing what you do the best, not thinking but saying what your little brain is stuck on. I have given you a link explaining about why and in what aspects of life the Dhimmis are treated differently. But obviously your mentality is that if someone opens and holds a door and says to a lady “ladies first” then that person would be branded as gentleman. and one day there will be war, between the followers of Islam, those not so few fundamentalists who want the west vanquished, and westerners who believe that democracy and freedom is the only way forward.
this might not happen in my lifetime, but i see it coming all the same. So many corners of the globe hold large pockets of people who are adherents to the faith, many are having their heads turned by those who have influence and wealth, who despise everything the west stands for.
i quote part of this from a journalist friend, from 30 years ago.
he worked in the Middle East for many years, and knew the places and peoples well. The world is a much more dangerous place than it was 20 years ago, and now some have access to large scale weaponry, they are not just jihadists riding camels in the desert.
