Voodoo As A Viable Religion
59 Answers
As a religion, Voodoo seems more realistic than the major, big religions ... Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc.
The Voodooists see their God as distant and unknowable ... well, YES! ... and they form bonds with the spirits whom God (sorry, "Bondye") sends to do his day to day chores.
That just seems so much more plausible than all this "one God who is everywhere" nonsense.
I'm really coming round to the idea of Voodoo.
I wonder if we have a local Voodoo place? Oh, ha! ... who am I kidding? In this town, you can hardly move for occult places.
I also like all the parties and nudity.
I'm going to have to think of a Voodoo name for myself.

The graveyard near the Abbey is NOT a good place for a ceremony. Huge chunks of the graveyard keep breaking off and startled tourists are not impressed when they are hit on the head by a 300 year old leg bone
