@ goodlife
Still no acknowledgement or an apology for your intellectual dishonesty re the misrepresentation and unattributed quotation of Prof. Henry Gee? Still cowardly ignoring these points? Yes, I see you are.... good ole JWs - lying for jebus.....
You whole premise is based upon a lie.
You said this garbage;
"A scientist can fully explain gravity" - No they can't
" precisely or define all the components of an atom" -Up to a point- sub-atomic particles and the standard model are still a bit tricky though
"Explain the exact nature of time." No they cannot.
"So since creation is beyond our complete understanding" - A qualified truth. Creation is beyond our complete understanding at the moment. That does not mean to say that we will not fully understand it in a few years or decades time though.
" capable scientists are becoming increasingly cautious about saying that a certain thing is impossible." - Utter and absolute tripe. Betrays your complete and utter lack of understanding of science and the scientific method. No capable scientist would ever commit themselves to an unqualified answer about what is possible or impossible, precisely because they are capable scientists.
And sorry to shatter your argument from ignorance - contrary to your assertion, scientists are increasingly likely to dismiss god as a first cause of creation, because there is no evidence for god, and because the notion of a creator who can perform miracles is unscientific...
We are increasingly finding the limits of god - about the only space left for a god to exist is in the very first few milliseconds of the existence of the universe, and no evidence since then. So, i think we can see the limits quite easily.
If your god does actually exist, goodlife - if your deity is so kindly and loving, and as powerful as you claim, why does your deity not just perform a miracle and cure all those devout, worshipful amputees? Just think of all those fervent prayers! Just think about all those fervent converts!
