I've noticed they now avoid saying what they believe in but rather report , what other people say., without committing themselves.
For instance they describe Creationism, Genesis, Evolution but always in the third person. Some say this, some say that etc. It's only as they go on or you read on that their true beliefs emerge.

I always render them tongue tied when I say " I'll listen to you on one condition , you don't refer to or quote from the bible or one of your publications. It can be quite amusing to see how they struggle to put things in their own words.

Don't, under any circumstances allow these people into your home, ever !
With their overwhelming lack of proof they now probably want a quid each way.

I remember they used to say " Don't you agree our lives are now far worse than in the past. " To which I use to reply , no I have a much better life than when I was young , and infinitly better than that of my parents..

There other opening gambit was " We bring you great news of joy . "
My reply was' I've won the lottery and you now realise Genesis is a load of garbage.

Nowadays they start off more apologetically for troubling you and say how lovely the garden is and their literature is less dogmatic.
Have not seen any JW literature for some time. Did have a JW visit the other day who seemed a fairly inoffensive type- but him and the others ( who were canvassing neighbours houses) all had this rather disturbing fixed smile.

I am going to try Modellers line next time though, because I like it :)
