Excellent post, Orderlimit. The article by Douglas Murray hits at the very root of the problem – and it does it superbly. Yes, we do need to tackle the scourge on humanity that is radical Islam – and the sooner we recognise that the better for every peaceful law-abiding citizen in this country, whatever their colour or creed. For my own part I have plenty to say on this subject and on the subject of religion in general.
It is a subject which I feel passionately about because if it is not tackled then my grandchildren may well not enjoy the freedoms and benefits that our wonderful country provides at the moment.
Unfortunately I have taken my concerns to other forums on the net because recently on AB there seems to be an apologist's mindset prevailing which tries to make excuses and follow the middle ground on every post about religion.

The result of conditioning, I suspect. Religion must be exempt from criticism - no matter what it promotes - and even if people don't agree with what is happening, they must be seen to be politically correct. Conditioning!
