Why? Where does it say in Islam or the Quran that they can kill kids, or anyone for that matter?

Whilst we're on the subject, what does it say about sharia law? From what i understand that means something similar to the murderous crusades? As in go forth to places and force others to believe what you believe in and if they don't kill them?

Does this sound normal to you?

The perceived justification.

Qur'an (3:118) - "O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand."

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

There’s plenty more. Islam has no excuse.
Keyplus90 - “...if I were to ask people like Beso to give me where in Quran it is written that he/she claims, then I am sure there would be nothing to back the claim...”

Ha ha. Don't be so foolish. The Koran (like the Torah and the Bible) is steeped in violence, murder and intolerance. They are all books of blood and the Koran is arguably the worst of the three.

But of course you already know this since it is at the core of your personal belief and I've no doubt that you can quote great chunks of it off the top of your head. Naomi has helpfully given a couple of passages for the uninitiated. As she says, there are more – many more - and I can post a whole series of them if you like. Which begs the question, since you must be aware that there are passages in the Koran that contain some very, very unpleasant stuff, why are you deliberately lying to someone who hasn't read it? The answer is of course that you are so indoctrinated into Islam that you cannot allow the idea that the Koran is anything other than a shining beacon of light even though it quite demonstrably is not.

Your wilful blindness to concrete, provable facts is equalled only by Goodlife on this website.
Kissmequik -

Just so you can get a flavour for Islam and its holy texts, I thought I'd add a few more choice quotes from the religion of peace...

Koran 33:60 - “Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them and set you over them. Then they will not be able to stay as your neighbours for any length of time. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized and slain without mercy - a fierce slaughter - murdered, a horrible murdering.”

Koran 2:191 - “And kill them wherever you find and catch them. Drive them out from where they have turned you out; for Al-Fitnah (polytheism, disbelief, oppression) is worse than slaughter.”

Koran 5:33 - “The punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Prophet and make mischief in the land, is to murder them, crucify them, or cut off a hand and foot on opposite sides...their doom is dreadful. They will not escape the fire, suffering constantly.”

Koran 7:3 - “"Little do you remember My warning. How many towns have We destroyed as a raid by night? Our punishment took them suddenly while they slept for their afternoon rest. Our terror came to them; Our punishment overtook them.”

That last one is particularly apt don't you think given the slaughter at the school?
you lot do know you've been trolled again, don't you?
Humbersloop

Unfortunately Keyplus is quite real and believes what he says. He may be many things but a troll he ain't.
Oh hang on. To whom were you referring?
Kissmequik
Ahh. You may have something there.
yep
Just noticed that the account has been suspended. Oops.

No matter, I don't think it's ever a bad idea to remind everyone just how unpleasant the teachings of Islam are.
I suspected that - but not to worry. The subject matter is important.
they don;t want to believe that followers of this faith can behave so dreadfully.
You see people hold the view that all religions offer equally valid ways of finding God and understanding the meaning of life. Similarly widespread is the belief that there is good and bad in every religion and that no single faith has a monopoly on truth or can make the claim that it is the only way to God.

Well the fault lies, not with all religion, but with false religion. A widely respected religious figure, Jesus Christ, indicated that false religion produces bad works, just as a “rotten tree produces worthless fruit.” (Matthew 7:15-17)
//Well the fault lies, not with all religion, but with false religion.//

And that's exactly what these murderers think - except they believe yours is the false religion. See the problem?
//And that's exactly what these murderers think - except they believe yours is the false religion. See the problem//

No, The because danger of being misled is great, so Jesus warns: Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves.” Even as good trees and bad trees can be recognized by their fruits, Jesus notes, false prophets can be recognized by their conduct and teachings.
That's what they think too.
OK we will start again what have been done so many times before for the sake of “kismequik”.

Naomi, you posted 3:118 but had you read Quran then you would not have stopped there as very next verse 3:119 tells you what it is about, but I will help you,

///3:119 Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, “We believe”: But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: “Perish in you rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart.”///

Very clearly this verse is about people who at that time used to pretend that they were Muslim but used to deceive Muslims in hard time aka “munafiqeen” (hypocrites)

Again Naomi posted 8:12 but forgot to read following few verses because those verses tells why these words were given. One can read as Quran is easily available but all I can say is that it was a time when 313 unarmed and ill equipped Muslims were up against over 1000 highly equipped army and were fighting a war of their survival. Yes, it was war time and during war to encourage you have to have some sort of words there.

Ahh, then come my little birdie a so called expert of twisting words and verses of Quran. All I can say to anyone that please open an online Quran and read couple of verses after he has given for example he has given 2:191 but I know why he left 2:192 as that does not suit him. Here it is,

///2:192 But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.///

Another fine example of posting what suits you.

“kismet quik” if you really are interested to find out what Quran says or tells then instead of me posting a long post why not just open this page and read few verses soon after the verses Naomi and my little birdie (who I usually ignore due to thick brain) has posted. It might be a best way to find out what Quran really says. As I am sure that there is not a single verse in Quran that promotes violence but people post out of context or half of the verse as it suits them. Here is the website,

http://www.alquran-english.com/8-al-anfal/
Goodlife – I am not here to decide if my religion is true or yours. I will simply believe that your religion is true religion only when you would prove according to your own Bible that you are a true believer of Christ. I asked you before and here it is. Mark Chapter 16 verse 17 and 18. And trust me that I still have to find one (yes just one) brave Christian out of 1.8 billion who would fulfil this and would prove to be the true believer.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Keyplus, we’ve been here before – and every time you’ve been proven wrong. The Koran forbids Muslims to take friends from the ranks of non-Muslims – and it commands them to either convert non-Muslims to Islam or kill them. No question about it. People don’t have to take my word for it – or yours – it’s all there for anyone who wants to read it.

//Qur’an:8:39 “So fight them until there is no disbelief and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”//

That is the perceived justification for what these madmen do.

As I said, Islam has no excuse – and neither do you.

//my little birdie (who I usually ignore due to thick brain)//

It’s said that reading improves mental faculties, Keyplus. Keep at it and I’m sure you’ll find your brain will improve.
goodlife //Jesus warns: Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves.” //

So watch out for anyone wearing woolen clothes? I knew we were to be careful about not wearing fabrics made of mixed materials but I thought all wool would be fine.

//Even as good trees and bad trees can be recognized by their fruits, Jesus notes, false prophets can be recognized by their conduct and teachings. //

Then all who teach religion are false prophets for their teachings are sick.
