If you look on the site, which I know you do and search for disaster / disaster relief you will find many accounts.
Here is just one - Hurricane g03 8/8 13-14.

Jesus did not seek glory when he was on earth, and neither do his followers. The scripture in Matt 6 v 3 – “But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing,” applies here.
I now close my case.
All very commendable goodlife but this information is published by Jehovah witnesses,do you not have any independent sources of your good works? Oh, sorry, have just noticed you have closed your case, so an answer will not be forthcoming.
@ Goodlife - If you wish to "close your case", thats your perogative, but you have hardly made one yet..

Thanks for the additional detail regarding disaster relief. Very commendable, I am sure, and I am not knocking it at all; People need all the help they can get at times like that. As Vulcan says though- it would be nice to see a bit of independent corroboration. I will research further, when I have a moment...

You still failed to answer my other questions though- out of oversight, lack of time perhaps? Anyway, here they are again;

"So do JWs run or fund hospitals, or hospices, or orphanages, or food banks?How about womens refuges? What charitable giving do they fund? As an example, I know the CoE has The Childrens Society and the Church Urban Fund as vehicles for charitable works - what would be the JW analogue? How about organisations like The Red Cross?"

I wonder if you would care to confirm whether the JWs do any of the above, like most of the major religions do?
Registered charity = save taxes.
From Goodlife: …//if you bothered to do your research you will find that when there is a disaster, it is generally JWs who are there first//

That’s a little disingenuous. Yes, the JWs are there, but primarily to help other JWs.

Q: What do these charities have in common?
A: No JW has given a penny to any of them.
JWs are discouraged from giving to charities who are part of "this evil old world". See pusillanimous slur "so-called" above.
VE- //pusillanimous//? Me or Goodlife & Co?
This remark by Goodlife, Naomi: "As to helping out - just because it is not advertised as per other so called charities...".
VE, thanks for clarifying.
