The Tamu massif summit is 6,500 feet below sea level, ie, a mile and a quarter. Do you really think that the glow from molten lava would be visible at the surface, especially as the water would be clouded with suspended ash.

agchristie...lighten up ! Read Henriettas post..."or something else" She clearly would love this to be another of her aliens. Does she, or you really expect a rational debate on this topic ? She still thinks that there is a very strong possibility that there aliens on the Moon !
Tell me...do YOU think that there are alien forward bases on the Moon ?

Mikey, why do you interpret 'something else' as alien existence? You are obviously pre-judging from the other question.
Of course it's possible to have a rational debate on this. There are thousands of people round the world discussing the issue!
Maybe I don't believe in the existence of aliens but we can all have a view and argue in the alternative in a respectful manner.

We are all adults here agchristie, and we usually have vigorous, adult, debates. While I have been vigorous and combative, I have not used rude words or been unnecessarily hard on Henrietta. If I have insulted her unduly, then I apologise.
But her choice of debating topic is hard to take seriously. She appears to be typical Van Daniken material, much keener to believe in the irrational and illogical, rather then trying to find a more sensible answer. Her mind set was cemented by her previous post about the "Moon bases" and I'm afraid she will now have to win back the right to be taken seriously.
