If the founder of Islam, the Arabian prophet Muhammad, was a real person, what sound reason do you have to believe that Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity, was not?
He may have lived some 600 years before Muhammad, but note that the founder of Buddhism, Siddhārtha Gautama—the Buddha, or “Enlightened One”—lived even earlier, over 500 years before Jesus. Yet, if the Buddha was a real person, what sound reason do we have to believe that Jesus was not?

Mohammed was a fully-fledged human being, as was Buddha, but Jehovah's Witnesses claim Jesus to have been the supernatural Archangel Michael and others claim him to have been the supernatural creator God incarnate. Spot the difference?
Therefore, rationally, since there is no evidence for the existence of supernatural beings, there is no reason (sound or otherwise) to believe that the divine version of Jesus existed at all.
//Jesus Christ, the founder of Christianity//
Jesus didn't found Christianity. Paul did.

Would Jesus listen to congregations as they try to explain that they like comfortable places in which to worship ? That they don’t like to borrow or rent suitable rooms a few times a week to “gather together in his name“ and take collections for housing the homeless, rather than for the upkeep of buildings and bureaucracy, officials and officialdom ?
Let’s guess what Jesus’ priorities would be these days.
Go on – guess.
Widows, orphans, the poor, the sick, the blind, the lame . . . . .
or
cushioned pews, with coffee in the vestry afterwards ?
