The "Chosen People" (the Elect of the AV) are no longer defined by ancestry (and its physical symbol - circumcision), but by faith in the redemptive sacrifice of the resurrected Christ. So Paul was saying to non-Jews "You're in, too, guys, and on equal terms". This he referred to as "the circumcision of the spirit". Spiritual Israel includes all the original believers, both Jew and Gentile,
Now, having interpreted the Israel mentioned in the Revelation metaphorically the original inventor of what became The Watchtower Society, namely Charles Taze Russell, proceeded to take the number 144,000 literally. (Yes, don't ask, but read my forthcoming self-help monograph "The Ten Steps Needed to Create a Cult").
It was a limited offer, first come, first served . All the early Christians would be born-again members of the Elect, destined for Heaven". Over time the number grew, a few Arians here, a few other "heretics" there, a Servetus or two, and of course CTR and his early followers. I think the oligarchs who run the business and collect the profits are all supposed to be members of the group (referred to bin the literature as "the Remnant".
So the number 144,000 was reached probably early last century and the offer closed. It just leaves the occasional sale and return caused by a formerly chosen one apostasising. All the proselytising of the JWs since the time of its second CEO "Judge" Rutherford will be offering new converts the prospect of eternal life on earth, not in Heaven.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not a secret society. You can go on their official website and you can get all the facts, not lies or distortions such as those given in apostate sites. These apostates are the ones who have left the organisation for various reasons, usually because they can't dominate others with their ideas.
Your comment regarding Judge Rutherford, he does not do the choosing of those who have the heavenly hope. This is left to Jehovah God himself.
Another point regarding Judge Rutherford. Did you know that he was an athiest before becoming a Witness?
As to profit! This is not a money making machine, unlike other religious groups we do not sell. All work is done voluntarily and no one receives a wage. Literature is offered freely. If anyone wants to donate, that is their choice. There are many in the organisation who for 10, 20, even 50 years that have never, ever given a penny.
But I am wasting my breath, because no matter what I say, you would prefer to believe the lies and false stories put about by those who have a grudge against Jehovah's Witnesses.

First, making giving is part of true worship because doing so is good for us.
It underlines our appreciation of God’s goodness, take a child buys or makes a gift for his parent, the parent is delighted to see the child develop an appreciative and giving spirit.
So Jehovah encourages us to give and is delighted when we do. This is how we show him that we really appreciate all his boundless kindness and his generosity to us.
He is the giver of “every good gift and every perfect present,” so we will never run out of reasons to thank him. (James 1:17)
