What do you think it will take before our politicians eventually confront the evil of Islam in our society?
With Muslim patrols on the streets demanding sharia law, and the ever encroaching demands for more rights, isn't it time that the fight back was taken out of the hands of the far right racist groups, and dealt with by mainstream politicians?
The Quran needs to be seen for what it is, a manual for violence.
Islam needs to be viewed realistically, as a religion of hatred and division.

Define "moderate Muslim" Keyplus. Your responses over the years have lead me to believe that you are anything but moderate. I'm not sure you even know what 'moderate' means anymore.

Does it mean stating that you'll be happy when the black flag of Islam is flying above Buckingham Palace and Downing Street? No? Because that's what you've gleefully endorsed in the past.

Does it mean being civil to your ideological opponents and not threatening them with violence and death? No? Because that is what you have threatened me with in the past.

Does it mean stating that you think that the *whole world* will be better off once they 'convert' to Islam under pain of death? No? Because that is what you've said in the past.


In your years here on AB you've advocated:

1. the abolition of democracy;
2. the imposition of sharia law on the whole of the UK population;
3. threats of violence to anyone who opposes your views;
4. rejection of observable science over religious dogma.


And you consider yourself to be a "moderate Muslim"?!?

Keyplus also advocates the marriage of little girls to grown men and the lopping off of the hands of thieves as punishment for their crime, and says that Muslims don’t come to the west for a better life, but to show us ‘the way’. We have it straight from the horse’s mouth. This is ‘moderate’ Islam.

They had been exiled, or killed, and the land and property expropriated. Only a vile concoction like the Koran could have a chapter titled "The Spoils of War" (Sura 8). I've read a couple of books by Bernard Lewis on Islam. He's surprisingly sympathetic to the religion. Have also got his history of the Middle East (from the 1st century), but have't yet begun to read it.

V_E, since a book club asked me to recommend a novel and didn’t enjoy it at all (I think they would have preferred Barbara Cartland), I’ve been reluctant to recommend any book to anyone. However, whilst Karen’s ‘Jerusalem’ contains the expected apologist rhetoric, she has clearly done a great deal of research. I hope you find it interesting I’ll read the others that you and Khandro mention. Thank you both.

I wonder why I let them get to me?
I would like them to embrace Chhristianity, but they actually make me so angry, not just the horrible violence, but the constant arrogance and numerous demands they make.
