Evolving Religions

If Religions want to widen their flock of followers, why would they not update their 'bible' to the ever changing morals of Society.
The present archaic chauvinistic homophobic murderous enslaving traditional scriptures are enough to put anybody off. Surely if these were updated a religion would become a more attractive prospect for someone looking for extra guidance in life?
According the present tenets every muslim who doesn't behead infidels is not a practicing one, or every RC who does not condemn homosexuality is not a true christian.

The basic tenets of Christianity, typically referred to as the core doctrines, include the belief that there is only one true God; that God exists in the form of a Trinity, or three gods in one; that God is omnipresent and omniscient; and that God is sovereign and holy. In addition, a core principle is the belief that Jesus was the Son of God but became a man and was sent to earth to save mankind from death and sin.
Many aspects of the bible and standings of the church are open to interpretation but if a person is a definable as a true Christian, these tenets are what he/she believes and are inviolable.

That really mean that 99.99% Muslims are not practising then.
You see, if a religion is what it claims to be, a word of God then there should be no need to twist it to suit people's demand. It should be practical in any given time. Even though still not everyone would believe in it or will accept it. Because that is what we call a free will.

@keyplus //That really mean that 99.99% Muslims are not practising then.// - You are correct. If you claim to be a muslims than you must be a supporter of pedophilia, homophobia and murder, or you are a disloyal follower.
@Theland//Yes of course we advocate slaughter don't we?// - If you mean general western religions with 'us', then yes. Surely if, for instance, you support the murderous action of your 'loving' god as with Noah's ark, then you can not spout that god is good and forgiving!
This reiterating BS of taking scriptures out of context is uttered by the theists in the hope that they can be seen to somehow justify their belief, is just plain rubbish. If it is written and can not be changed then it must be so..... !
