Goodlife, If you were on the verge of insanity would you not be grateful if someone pointed out to you that you need psychiatric help? Megalomania and paranoia can be treated with modern scientific techniques.

I'm very happy.
/Is it possible for an atheist to be happy? /
sorry to disappoint you but yes and I suspect happier than a guilt ridden person who is slave to the demands of a callous and inhumane doctrine.

You know must breathe, You must drink, You must eat, You must sleep, All of this is obvious. Your body demands this just to stay alive.

Consider this you buy a car, the manufacturer tells us its needs: fuel in the tank, water in the radiator, air in the tires, oil in the crankcase, and so on. We meet its needs. It go along beautifully.
But what are our needs? Far more, Far more complex than those of any machine.
There is a spirit in man that has needs beyond material things. Unless these needs of the spirit within us are met, there will be no contentment, no true happiness.
Happiness is an inside job, so to speak.
It is the way we are made. The needs of both body and spirit must be met. Jesus pointed this out: “Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every utterance coming forth through Jehovah’s mouth.”—Matthew 4:4 yes Jesus also said: “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need.” (Matthew 5:3)

twr@ Would I give my last fiver to a beggar. It depends. There are beggars and beggars. If someone was a genuine beggar and really was in dire straights, yes I would. But how do you know? In England beggars can have more than I have.
Jesus said of God’s recorded Word, the Bible: “Your word is truth.” (John 17:17) To be true it must be consistent. It is!
How often do you help persons Goodlife?
Question Author
The Bible tells us not to let our left hand know what the right hand is doing. It would be arrogant of me to tell you exactly how many I have helped. But let it be known that I have helped.
Goodlife, // It would be arrogant of me to tell you exactly how many I have helped.//

You've actually counted??? Jeepers!
You seem to know your bible very very well & you can recite any part, It must, I'm sure for you to recall how many people you have helped must come easy for you!
Question Author
No it says at Matt:37- Just let your word ‘Yes’ mean yes, your ‘No,’ no, for what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.
