Who And Where Is Your God?.
101 Answers
I Do Not believe in God. However, I could be proved wrong if there are ABers who can account for the reasons that 'God' subjects us mere mortals to Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Lightning, Volcanic eruptions, etc. Also tyrannical forces such as Isis and killer diseases such as Cancer.
Surely, if 'God' is all powerful, he/she is able to control matters in a more appropriate manner than appearing to be 'sitting back' and doing nothing.

A God-fearing "man" Habakkuk asked Jehovah: “Why do you make me witness wrongdoing? And why do you tolerate oppression? Why are destruction and violence before me? And why do quarreling and conflict abound?”—Habakkuk 1:3
So, why is suffering, it is God’s will, and that he long ago determined everything that would ever happen, including tragic events.
Many are told that God’s ways are mysterious or that he brings death upon people—even children—so that he can have them in heaven.
But some have learned, though, Jehovah God never causes what is "bad". The Bible says: “It is unthinkable for the "true" God to act wickedly, for the Almighty to do wrong!”—Job 34:10.
Yet do you know why people make the mistake of blaming God for all the suffering in the world? In many cases, it athiest and bad people blame Almighty God because they think that he is the real ruler of this world.
lf they knew a simple but important truth that the Bible teaches, is clearly states: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19)
If you think about it, does that not make sense? Yes people reflects the personality of the invisible spirit creature who is “misleading the entire inhabited earth.” (Revelation 12:9)
Satan is hateful, deceptive, and cruel. So the world, under his influence, is full of hatred, deceit, and cruelty.
And that is just one reason why there is so much suffering..

goodlife - If I have read what you say correctly, then your God is content to leave his people on earth in the grip of Satan.
That does not square with his image as a 'loving' God - does it?
And if possible, I would like you to answer me personally, and not rely on cutting and pasting tracts which I could find for myself I wanted to.
Thank you.

No? There is another vital reason for you andy.
You could learn something by going outside on a clear, dark night and looking at the bright moon and countless stars? You could learn something about the One who created all of this.—Psalm 19:1-6; 69:34.
Also Included in his challenge was the taunt that God could not produce people who could not learn and stay loyal to him, under any pressure that there are people of integrity who will not compromise what is right. (Prov. 27:11)
So you who does not walk in any truth does much more than merely walk in error. Intentionally or unintentionally he allows himself to become aligned with Satan, the “father of the lie,” “the god of this system of things” who has “blinded the minds of the unbelievers.”—John 8:44; 2 Cor. 4:4.
That why you can't find for your self.

If only religious folk were to think for themselves instead of believing what they are told, in many instances, by Non Believers who gain power over the weak and (for want of more appropriate words) Scam folk into a state of uncontrolled submission. Hence the reason for an abundance of 'way-out sects'.
