I'm lucky in the fact that most deaths I've had to deal with have been sudden. I didn't have to watch them die.
Except my dad...I did tell him I was sorry for all the A&E trips he had to make...he squeezed my hand.
I'm not sure he actually believed in God...he just went through the Catholic rituals, imo.

I'd say "You are going to be with God in heaven - that's the Jehovah's Witnesses' God, not some pale imitation, just the real one, the only one, the one that gets you into heaven, and everyone else goes to hell, which is what they deserve for not being Jehovah's Witnesses, and I'll see you there because we deserve to be there, and no-one else does ...."
