Watching television news is just amazing to see bible prophecies rolling out so accurately. Proof indeed that the bible is true and that God has forewarned us about the fate of this world.

Would he please give just one example of such a prophecy?
Would he explain that passage in from memory Judges where God could overcome wooden chariots but not chariots made of iron. [Alluded to by Naomi].
And would he explain how an all powerful god does not intervene to avert 'the fate of this world' assuming he is also an all loving god.
That's three questions, reasonable ones I hope. Three answers please.

Quiet right Muntin, its from Judges
“And the Lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.”
—Judges 1:19
As regards prophecies in the news Theland will no doubt refer to Matthew 24 where Jesus talks about wars, earthquakes and famines in the last days (as if the earth has never suffered from wars earthquakes and famines previously...)

Thanks Nailit for the quote. Our son had the verses written on a tee shirt and I thought 'no, that can't be in the bible, they would have edited it out years ago, it shows god is not infallible'.
And, lo, I consulted the bible and that bit is in there, begining of Judges, OT, if any one wants to look it up.

Yes there are difficult passages in the bible but there is always an explanation. God was with Judah but it was not God doing the fighting for them. Poor military planning or poor equipment who knows? But there are plenty of web sites dealing with such difficult passages rather than simply throwing them out to discredit God. I found the answer so can you.
