Ancient Alien Astronaughts
155 Answers
After reading Theland's thread below (who or what created the universe) and the debate that developed between Naomi and others regarding ancient aliens visiting Earth, I thought that it may deserve a thread of its own.
I read von Daniken's books as a teenager and later found out that much of what he wrote was fabricated. *BUT* there have been other authors who have had the same ideas without Danikens fancies.
Myself, I'm open minded about it all, but still a fascinating subject to discuss.

Plenty of character assassination from people who know very little about the subject - but little discussion. Never mind - good for you for trying. As long as they're not more character assassinations, I look forward to any responses you may receive.
O-G Its been years since I read anything like this but just a quick google...

Wait until we are visited by aliens who will be more advanced than us by thousands of years and they will tell us who the "CREATOR" is. Don't forget that us humans have only recently evolved from our pals in the jungle and our little brains are only developing. Maybe in another 10,000 years we will have have a better idea of what its all about, that is, if our tiny planet Earth survives a meteor strike or perhaps our sun will pull the plug and put the lights out.
Thanks, but I've not read the books, so would need a poster to post the claims made and why they were suitable for serious consideration. I have read quite a few von Daniken paperbacks back in the day. If they're shown to be fanciful interpretation why should one give others the benefit of the doubt ?
