With respect, why do religionists spend so much time and energy posting vids for atheists to see?
This is as ridiculous as me being on gardening, football, or cooking.
Good for those who are, but wasted on me.

//You said the videos were 'posted for atheists' to see - I wondered why it's so specific? Wouldn't some theists like to see them?//

I dare say they would.
BUT, they are never posted in that vein. They are always posted in retaliation to atheistic responses and any rebuttal to the vid is ALWAYS ignored.
And when asked for specific bible verses...up pops another vid.
I would just love an intelligent exchange of views without the need to invoke someone elses ideas...on a vid!
Thanks, Nailit. Are there many 'religionists' doing this?

I can think of one Neveracrossword.
Yes, Nailit, that's what concerned me. I thought your question was general, it's a bit disheartening to realise that it's not.

Does it? Oh dear!
Am I supposed to feel some kind of guilt or something?
Question Author
I never feel any kind of guilt about asking WHY?
I think Theland, who posts most of the videos in this section, posts them to convince atheists of the veracity of biblical prophecy and intelligent design. The religious don't need to be convinced.
"Why do religionists...' lead me to think it was a valid question that could be discussed. Did you mean it to be explored or was it really 'why does [the one religionist I know' spend so much time...'? There's a huge difference.
Thanks, Naomi.
There have been others, neveracrossword.

Careful naomi, the religious are out tonight and they don't like to be questioned. They are always right you know!
If there is science info in the science forum for non-scientific minded folk to learn from, and news in the news section for those who didn't catch the news story, and recipes in the food section for anyone whether they can cook or not, why not religious stuff here to try to enlighten the sceptics ?
Thanks again, Naomi. I wasn't sure if the OP was as general as it stated, or was in response to the 'Why do atheists...' question asked the other day. (PS I don't know where Nailit's seeing all the 'religious' - I'm certainly not one of those.)

Steg, thanks. I re-read the posts, hunting for signs of religiosity...
For an avowed athiest nailit, you seem to have a great interest religion and spirituality.
This section is always going to generate discussion between the religious and the non-religious. It always has and it always will. It was much livelier and far more interesting back in the Dark Ages when custard pies flew between contributors at a rate of knots! ;o)
