Who Was Jesus?

In response to Nailit’s observation that “It’s gone a bit quiet on here”, in an effort to generate a little discussion that might be of interest to all, ASSUMING THE MAN JESUS EXISTED, who do you think he might have been – and what are your reasons for reaching your conclusion?

Would it not have been almost inevitable that Christ would have learned his father's profession from young childhood though and it's just not really been mentioned because it's so obvious. Joseph is hardly likely to have a helpmate kicking about and not asked him to do anything, plus traditionally Jewish men usually took on the work of their fathers, so I'm imagining that long before he ever because known as 'the messiah' he was helping with the family business, although I fully accept that is not documented.

Not if he wasn't around as a child ....

Perhaps his four brothers took up the mantle ... but we don't know that either.

Personally i think he was the World's first ever hippy. Long hair, beard, robe, preaching peace to all men and obviously smoked a lot of devil grass in his time. When i used to smoke it, i always thought i was the son of god :-)

He certainly didn't seem of that time. He was far more advanced/ balanced, spiritually.
One thing that's been noticed, is how respectful and compassionate he was of women. I'd like to think he was real and had some sort of beneficial everlasting purpose. Certainly a mystery.
