Atheists read the Bible and find plenty to criticise it.
However it so cleverly written, that there are levels of understanding at so many levels in even the most simple texts.
Many texts have been misunderstood for years until contemporary events have unlocked them.
This is worth more than instant dismissal by atheists.
Open minds?

These are, supposedly, the thoughts of Theland who has just stated on another thread that he carries a hammer. Jesus had access to hammers but I don't think he ever carried one.

the bible was written and compiled by a lot of different people, chinese whispers legends myths, and you think its the word of god

Those scriptures were written by Jews, for Jews.
Yes of course, it is always possible to put your own slant on meanings, but a believer prayerfully studies it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
And what if there are two meanings? Or three?
They can all be true at once.
"Many shall run to and fro," can mean as the article says, searching the scriptures, or related to modern travel, unheard of a hundred years ago.
