//Sceptics won't have the last laugh//

Theland, no mocking (for a change), just interest. Hoe do you think it was possible then? How did all those creatures fit in one vessel? How did animals from different lands, different climates, make it onto the ark? How were these animals fed?
Where was the space for the millions of different animals and insects?

What did they feed on and where was the room for it?

How did he get to all these animals and insects before the flood? How did he get to Australia to pick up at least two of all the marsupials there, for example?
Sorry MOZZ, been having 'phone issues and didn't see your post.
My Catholic school must have been really rubbish because I was never taught that Noah's Ark actually happened.
No worries TCL. I did enjoy the fact we asked exactly the same questions, albeit worded differently.
Theland, //Sceptics won't have the last laugh. //

Please stop with your prophecies of doom for anyone who doesn't believe as you.

There are over 8 million species on the planet, all created by God you say - no evolution involved so no chance that some evolved later. So .... Noah - allegedly - took two of some and seven of others - which logically equates to rather more animals than a vessel the size of the Ark could contain and support. How do you rationalise your belief?
An ark of dna

^Unsurprisingly that's been suggested. Technology - or lack of it - would present a problem though - and we're told there were living animals aboard the Ark.
^That to steg.

Spath, put a sock in it.
beats me how a crew of eight managed to sail it and look after all the creatures

Not much tech needed to pull a hair out and stick it in a box etc
My father used to ask, were there kangaroos on the Ark?

Did the two of them hop all the way from Australia to the Middle East and hop back home from Mount Ararat forty days later?

Did they swim through Indonesia? Or was the ocean lower until God just created all that extra water for The Flood?

But then how did they get back to Australia afterwards with a higher sea level? Or did God just magic the water away again?

A kangaroo might manage it given enough time but how did the koalas walk to twenty thousand miles to the middle east even if the could swim?

Not I, but there were certainly floods in biblical times & earlier. With one impending, it would be smart to move your livestock to high ground, if there wasn't any high ground ? - stick 'em on a boat!

These tales are very old & were told over & over again ( no telly you see) and grew in proportion & have been subject of many translations. Somewhere way back in the mists of time, something at the core of this story is based on a true event.
It's a great story though, when I was a child I loved it & made many drawings of it.

not noted for their speed are they?
It took humans a while to get to Australia from Africa, but they got there

And then what?
In some versions of the Bible, Noah took on seven pairs of some animals, meaning there were fourteen of them.
He managed to build an ark back then, I’m sure he had every thing else worked out as well. (Well we are all here now with the animals so he must of)
