With Brexit out of the way (?!) can we now turn to more momentous issues? I refer to those posed by St Augustine in reference to Creation; Who made it? By what means? & Why?

naomi; I have stated clearly what I believe, albeit of necessity in a truncated form, if you are unable to understand that, then so be it, but I don't need any lessons in manners from you.
I'd rather you took them from someone else, Khandro, but whatever - you need them.

Your deliberations on another thread are, I would have hoped, beneath you. Sadly they are not. To me, unforgiveable.
Just to try and untangle this mess with accusation and counter accusation, it is simple to read a message, and believe that the message originated in a mind, and was then processed with pen and paper, print, or computer, to communicate the message.
Is that OK or will Beso get further upset?
What messsge originated in the mind?
The one you just posted for a start.
Another cop out.
Theland, for your theory to be correct every thought from every brain has to be an original idea, which it obviously isn't.
Cop out? You are so predictable with your pit downs.
Vulcan - All I am saying is that if you see a message, or instruction, you know that it is not an accident, but has originated in a mind.
Theland, //All I am saying is that if you see a message, or instruction, you know that it is not an accident, but has originated in a mind. //

And? Just what is the point you are trying to make?
It isn't one or the other, theland. It hasn't originated there, but been created there.
It would be a bit like someone giving you and I identical ingredients (information) and we would likely both come out with different recipes... as we ha e added in other knowledge, experience etc. individually x
You and me...
Naomi - It has obviously gone over your head.
Pixie - This is unnecessarily complicated now.
I have made my point several times.
Ah, yes. As Pope of the First Church of Answerbank, I state with ultimate authority that the answer to all these questions is to be found online.
Oh your holiness, don't lift your cassock in the corridors.
Theland, //I have made my point several times.//

You’ve meandered but you haven’t cut to the chase - and that would be the simplest way to make your point. Are you saying that God puts our thoughts into our heads? Yes or no?
No.
Hi theland, (we are still going then)... I have seen your point several times. I was just asking for one example, which we don't seem to have got to yet?
I don't know whether the creation of the world is complicated or not, I'm not claiming to have the answers though... x
The creation of the world … information originates in the mind but God is not responsible …. does anyone know what anyone who claims to know what is going on here is going on about?
