Pixie - How can a first cause be uncaused?
Think about it yourself.
Unless there is infinite regression, there is indeed an first cause.
The mistaken thinking is that God is like us, and needs a cause to begin to exist.
The very nature of God is that He is eternal, outside of and beyond time, time being something God also created.
Within God is the cause and reason for His own existence.
If this was not true, then you would be left thinking, a god created God, and he was created by another, and another, and another and so on and so forth.
Now do you appreciate that?
God is completely *Other* to us.
