The bible is true.
Atheists, or rather Hatetheists, refuse to recognise thedd signs of the times, which are comprehensively described in the bible, which is accurate.
Stubbornness prevents the Hatetheists from recognising the truth.
Covid is but one aspect, but is like the first domino to fall, the rest will crash soon.
You can check what the bible says yourself, and compare it to contemporary events.
Time is getting short, things will never be the same again.
Will you take notice?

Chapter and verse Remember the bible is a very large book (I have sitting here on my desk ~ at the ready ~ so to speak) by the way I am not an atheist, I practise my faith and read the bible but for the life of me I cannot remember reading anything ~ and I have been reading for well over 70 years. //The same to both of you your loser//
I can just feel that Godly love pouring out of you goodlife.
Do you ever wonder why Goodlife continues to try to convince people he calls ‘sad’ and ‘losers’ that he’s right? I mean … he’s told us … we know ….we reject his message …. so why doesn’t he stop? Not convinced and craving endorsement perhaps? A safety in numbers thing? Hmmmm....

It's the unassailable arrogance of the fervent Christian - he knows he is right, and if he keeps telling enough people enough times, they will believe him

They won't of course, but the sort of belief system he is invested in doesn't allow for that.
//if he keeps telling enough people enough times, they will believe him //

Why does it matter so very much to him though? I know as a Christian he thinks it incumbent upon him to spread the word, which he's done - incessantly. It hasn't worked - and still he persists. He's one of the 'meek' (believe that and you'll believe anything)who is going to inherit the earth. He's done his bit. Sorted. No?

Oh well it's no longer a discussion is it?
Theland - you don't want a discussion, you want people to agree with you.
(It's the unassailable arrogance of the fervent Christian - he knows he is right, and if he keeps telling enough people enough times, they will believe him.)

No,Let me help you. it says at Matthew 24:14 the good news will be preach in all the world. whether they listen or not, it's their choice, and that all were commission to do. Is that made simple for you, hope so.
goodlife - // No,Let me help you. it says at Matthew 24:14 the good news will be preach in all the world. whether they listen or not, it's their choice, and that all were commission to do. Is that made simple for you, hope so. //

It is simple, and i can read it for myself if I wish.

What it does do is make it patronising, another unfortunate and ever-present trait of the fervent - the belief that anyone who doesn't think as you do has the intelligence and comprehension of an eight-year-old.

Since I am a month off being sixty-six, patronising does not sit well with me, so save it for your meetings and offer it to people who think, and patronise, like you do.
Sorry if you think patronising you.
//Sorry if you think patronising you//
When you sign off posts with such words as ''bye losers'' just how do you think people are going to take you?
You come across as an arrogant, self-righteous, patronising, religious bore.
No love, no compassion. Just a tired old religious fruit cake.
I don't think it goodlife, it's there for anyone to see.

Your entire premise on here is patronizing because you come from a position where only you are right.

You're not of course, but that's fervent arrogance for you.
//because you come from a position where only you are right//
In his own mind he his though, same with Theland, Idiosyncracy and others.
They cannot conceive that others genuinely dont believe as they do unless they are worthless sinners who just want to go about their daily lives doing as they please and the only reason they reject God is because we just dont want to believe and worship THEIR God.

Its a shame that folk on here take offence at christian posts.
Speaking for myself only, it gives me no pleasure to see such acrimony, and I regret it when I say anything that is upsetting.
But there is a fine line between responding in a robust way, and being insulting.
Too often posters are far too demanding for answers, and couch such demands in rather irritating language.

So what would god do if there was some cataclysm that wiped out humankind? Are there other "civilisations" we are unaware of or are we unique or in some way privileged?
Question Author
Drmorgans - what a question!
Do I know the mind of God?
Do what you can to take the message seriously.
mt 24 14 is
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

which actually is quite apocryphal (end-of-worldy)

I have to express some surprise no one looked it up considering the one line put downs about being able to google - - - I was the only one who did!

oh well normal evening on AB !
theland, /I regret it when I say anything that is upsetting/ then why do you persist, is it a sense of duty to spread the word, or do you just like to have an arguement or needle people..you have got your answers many times.
