Atheists, or rather Hatetheists, refuse to recognise thedd signs of the times, which are comprehensively described in the bible, which is accurate.
Stubbornness prevents the Hatetheists from recognising the truth.
Covid is but one aspect, but is like the first domino to fall, the rest will crash soon.
You can check what the bible says yourself, and compare it to contemporary events.
Time is getting short, things will never be the same again.

It's been 9 days since the OP and I've not noticed any of that out of the window as yet. Really hoping it won't be this weekend as I could do with a but of R&R, but it's a constant worry as the old prophecies are a bit light on dates for some reason.

Let's hope the stars stay attached to the sky until next weekend. Theland if you turn on the telly on, on Saturday 17 Oct... in the afternoon, you are likely to witness something that all men should see at least once in their lifetime. Even God will be watching and I doubt he will pull the shutters down on us before he sees the match.

Remember the bible is a very large book (I have sitting here
on my desk ~ at the ready ~ so to speak)
by the way I am not an atheist, I practise my faith and read
the bible but for the life of me I cannot remember
reading anything ~ and I have been reading for well over
70 years.

The fact that Newton ( sir Isaac that is!) was keen on number patterns in the bible and devoted the last 20 y of his life on it ... is not a proof

Po' clare - the usual prophetic texts are - Mt 24 - destruction of the Temple and end of times
and the whole of the Book of Revelation (the title kinda gives it away) - revelation - is mystical and you can skip it unless you really like imagery - four horsemen - seven seals - trumpets etc

Mt 24 is worth study - metzger ehrmann and bultman are worth a read. currently - written in belief at the time that the end of time was imminent ( ie AD 40) and then re written when it was clear that that train had left the station
so usual thing - what did it mean then
and what does it mean to us now?

Theland - what is the timescale of the 'end of times'? We can't say. Certainly, I was once persuaded that apocalypse was upon us by Bible quotes. It didn't happen as predicted. I now take a longer view. I agree that certain happenings agree with prophecy - but I think that there is a long way to go yet. If I am wrong, well, I apologise profusely and will meet you somewhere in the afterlife. :)

P.P. I was very young in 1959 and am vague about that date. I do remember, vividly, the Cuba crisis. Somehow we are still here. I know that I cannot materially influence these maxi events - do my best with the little things I can influence. The End of Days is not in my remit to predict.
