I'm thinking about the calamity of the Boxing Day tsunami.

What were the signs that were ignored about that?

Surely God wouldn't be so cruel as to trigger it without a warning.

Hopkirk- good point. When the Tsunami struck, The authorities weren't able to send out an alert because the sensor system had been struck by lightening. The officials did send out a warning, but it did not arrive until after the first wave hit.

As for God bringing the Tsunami, he didn't. But warning signs are always there, if people look for them.

Goodlife is saying ignore the JW’s interpretation of the bible and accept death or heed the JW’s interpretation of the bible and live for eternity. Just one almighty (pun intended) snag. If you opt for the latter you will live upon an earth populated only by JWs. Perish the thought! The main problem with Biblical prophecy is that it can be applied to any time. Take the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, War, Pestilence Famine and Death. Is there any century, or even any decade, in the past 2000 years, where some or all of these have not been present somewhere in the world?

So 2000 years, where some or all of these have not been present somewhere in the world? that is two days in God eyes.

As a Christian myself I do believe that these might indeed be the early warning signs. But I do not know for sure... as I cannot profess to understand Gods timing.

After all, if you don’t agree how do you seriously expect anyone to take any of you seriously, much less to believe any of you? As it is you all sound like you’ve been on the happy juice.
