Should we consider Muslims to be 'people' and treated like everyone else, or are they an insidious force bent on world domination, and as such, are denied such inclusion?

(something along the lines of 'you may have time to waste but I'm faaaar to busy today, this will keep for another time')
Nazism was an insidious force bent on world domination let's deny Germans the right to be called people.

That makes equally as much sense as your op, andy. (yes, I know, I'm a glutton for it)

I'm not sure what point you are making roy.

The notion that Muslims are not people like everyone else is not mine - it's naomi's as declared regularly on this site for decades.

Now she is opining that Muslims are actually 'people' like everyone else, and at her invitation, I have opened this debate to discuss it with her.

Of course, as usual, it's like plaiting fog, but I am nothing if not tenacious, so I will proceed.

Of course Muslims, and Germans, are people like everyone else, but it's not me who is saying otherwise.

I have just been to the R & S section, only to find it seriously pruned, there are only seven OP's there.

That means that, rather fortuitously for you, I am unable to mine the vast reserves of prejudice you have placed there over the years.

Never mind, you and I, and any regular readers of your posts, will know your position, it was stated often and clearly enough.

And they will notice the sudden change in the last couple of days, which of course you are determined to avoid addressing.
Seriously pruned? How very fortuitous for you.
How extraordinary. I thought you had fallen into a craftily prepared trap, Naomi.

Quite the opposite.

I would have loved to pick the best (worst) of your endless invective against Islam, and re-produced it here as evidence of your long-held prejudice against a massive section of the earth's population based on your spurious notion of a 'take-over' which has not advanced one iota in all the years you have been doomily warning about it.

But sadly, that is denined.

Never mind, as I pointed out, regulars have good memories, and know exactly what your regular stance has been, and can see the compete volte face you have made, and continue to try and wriggle out of.
//based on your spurious notion of a 'take-over' which has not advanced one iota in all the years you have been doomily warning about it. //

Andy have you not noticed the huge increase in the number of mosques in the UK?
Curiouser and curiouser.
ANDY, there are only seven in "Recently Answered" but 1,473 threads in "Answered".
I suggest some of you consult a dictionary.
Fortuitous(ly) does NOT mean fortunate(ly) - it merely means occurring by chance. The outcome could equally be unfortunate.
fortuitous

happening by chance rather than intention.
happening by a lucky chance; fortunate.
"the ball went into the goal by a fortuitous ricochet"
Surely goading of another ABer in this way goes against Site Rules, especially for a Moderator?
'Never mind, as I pointed out, regulars have good memories'

My memories of Naomi's posts are a criticism of Islam itself and the people who use it as an excuse to try to wage war on anyone else. Unless you can find any posts specifically to the contrary, it looks like you've rather spectacularly shot yourself in the foot, Andy.
Spot on Zacs.
Is andy colour-coding my sock drawer again?
Well, I was close. :-)
Good people are good people, bad people are bad people, most fall somewhere between, there are moderate followers of all faiths and none, who live decent lives have no desire to convert or control anyone. What we see as the evil of any belief system is the evil of those who interpret it and convince the vulnerable to follow their version

Taking a stand need not begin at the precipice . . . assuming we're not already there.
