Like all the way through the Bible, people have it, but dont't understand It. What the Bible says: “I will give you insight and instruct you in the way you should go.”—Psalm 32:8.
Why it you can't be hopeful about the future?

Because you have to look at it from God 's timetable not man's. The Bible says 1000 years is as one day, so in God's eyes is relatively short. But the Bible was not written for nothing it was written for people who want God's rule and tells us what to do, is to love him and show that we love him. That's not too much to ask, is it? ( 2 Peter 3:8-9 )
