Bible prophecy gives us a window through which we can see major events that will affect all of us. One prophecy in particular allows us to see what some of the most powerful governments on earth will do. (Revelation 11:7)
'And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.'
I'm not sure how that can be counted as a "prophesy". It could be applicable to any amount of events throughout eternity.
Zacs; That is really misnamed as 'Christian predictions' They are predictions by members of the church, not by Christ.
The writers of that page, - all atheists with an axe to grind, no doubt - cowardly inserted the word 'religious' to circumnavigate that glaringly obvious fact.
The only prediction Christ made (that I can think of) was that he would be betrayed, which was quite accurate.
// Where did you get that from? What are you talking about?//
from wild people on AB
there arent half a lorra them
all sounding off....wiv axes to grind, yeah?
// The only prediction Christ made (that I can think of)....//
nope - read the NT again - I will rise again after three days, you shall betray me before the cock crows - not a stone ( of the temple) shall remain on a stone -
even resurrection - "oh golly where am I - oh still here, never thought the next life would be more of the same of the old life....must catch a coffee at cafe nero" - - if He DID say that, then it has been edited out
Khandro, in the link, it refers to, among others, the failed prophecies of the Jehovah's witnesses. I don't recall too many atheists in that particular misinformed group.
// For Jehovah’s Witnesses, the Trinity is a satanic dogma of apostate Christianity that prevents people from knowing the true God, Jehovah.// and not surprisingly Christians say JW arent part of the Clan
ah Khandro AB is like the seven sleepers
( unwise virgins who didnt trim their candles)
keep up - Goodlife might say to continue the parable - no wake up ! (for the trumpet will sound..... bit millenarial I admit - air raid sirens sound then)
