Leander for me, just needs a little work to make him ideal.
Clearly a nation must have a government, and it is much more preferable if the government can be voted in democratically.
I have always been puzzled by why the Jehovas Witnesses refuse to let its members vote. Personally if I was a JW I would vote anyway and not tell anyone. Easier these days with postal voting. Nobody need see you go into a polling station
//Clearly a nation must have a government,//

Anarchists would disagree.
I can’t remember God telling everyone not to vote … so if Goodlife doesn’t vote he must be following some other leader.

fiveleaves if you knew a bit more about Jehovah's Witnesses you would find that we already voted. Something for you to find out.
And that goes for you to Naomi.

‘ if you knew a bit more about Jehovah's Witnesses’

I know enough about JWs, thanks. Bunch of joy sucking, brainwashed fools.
You are following a cult created by another man, goodlife. That's whose rules you adhere to.
Jeremiah 10:23 says ‘LORD, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps’

Which proves my point.

No wonder the world is in the state it is! None of you know Jehovah God, and his witnesses Isaiah 43 v 10 .
And you fulfil what the Bible says the world will be like. 2
Timothy 3 v 3.
I will leave you for a while now and come back when things get worse for you and see what you think then.
I do not believe that you truly know your God either. If you did you would realise that there can be no flawed religions in heaven. Because all there are familiar with what is true.
Goodlife, I am sorry to say you are in a cult. If you do not believe in the Divinity of Jesus and if you dont believe in the Trinity, you are in the same tragic position as Mr Ranting Atheist.
People get out of the JW's every day to join actual Christian churches where they can worship in truth and sincerty
fiveleaves and goodlife are not in agreement. But maybe both think that Mr Ranting Atheist is wrong.
BTW; I'm sorry if I have been ranting lately. :-)
//If you do not believe in the Divinity of Jesus and if you dont believe in the Trinity, you are in the same tragic position as Mr Ranting Atheist. //

I'm right, he's wrong. He's right, the other bloke is wrong ..... and so it goes on. That's why there are so many religions - and all as convinced as the next that they've got it right. How utterly ridiculous it all is. Personally, I think Mr Ranting Atheist is wiser than any of you.
'I will leave you for a while now and come back when things get worse for you and see what you think then.'

Don't bother; I'll still think your a religious nutcase.
