No matter how well you like what you are doing, no matter how satisfied you are with your situation and no matter what your plans are, you will immediately leave all these and run to a place of safety if you are convinced that the danger of sudden death is staring you in the face.

Vulcan42 You are another one who is blind. This page is for Spiritual discussion, not to frighten people, but the Bible talks of a time when things will be peaceful with none of the troubles of this world. If you want that you will take heed, if you don't, well take the consequences.

The Bible wasn't written, it was edited, with numerous sources, Old and New Testaments being pulled together over a period of centuries. What do you think the apocrypha are? Holy texts that weren't included in the Bible.
Raised as a RC, I still prefer Isaac Asimov.

The Author and Originator of the Bible is also its Preserver. He is the One who caused this statement to be recorded:“The word of our God endures forever.”—Isaiah 40:8.
That statement is true, even though no original Bible manuscript of the Hebrew and Aramaic Scripturesa or of the Christian Greek Scriptures has survived to our day.
Goodlife, even you must know that's abject nonsense - and if you don't I can only feel sorry for you.
I’d have being good mates with Jesus, he knew how to ferment stuff and enjoyed a fish butty.
If Jesus came back today he wouldn't recognise any 'Christian'.

Don’t be Naomi
Mankind as a whole is not motivated by the quality of godly fear. At Romans 3:9-18, the apostle Paul describes how far humans have fallen from original perfection. at Psalms, saying
“The foolish one says in his heart:”There is no Jehovah” ( Psalm 14:1.)
Then he provides details by citing such things as mankind’s negligence in seeking for God, their lack of kindness, their deceitful speech, cursing, and bloodshed. How accurately that describes the world today!

I am feeling guilty now, which I guess is the point of most religions.
//Mankind as a whole is not motivated by the quality of godly fear. //

Good. People should stand up to bullies.
I see this thread is going in the usual direction for one of goodlife's. Lots of questions asked of them / zero meaningful answers.

Standard.

You forgot the reliance on copy-and-paste.
That's covered by 'zero meaningful answers', DrM.

True it's where I get all my answers is from the watchtower and the Bible the only reliable and truthful source.

That's all for today folks bye.
It's too cold to go knocking on doors so he's done his shift here.
I do believe that God has a GSOH.

Otherwise he/she wouldn’t have shared it with us.

I offer no disrespect to anyones beliefs.

'It's too cold to go knocking on doors so he's done his shift here.'

Snigger.
rev 18.5 - - 5For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Goodlife - bless ! - does stuff and then a reference which is nothing to do with the text. This is OK for some Christians, ( fundamentalists).

the greek ( it was written in Greek, which I quote a lot because so many ABers dont speak a European language let slong one of the ancient ones)

⁵For her sins are piled all the way up to heaven, and God has remembered her
crimes.
18:6 ἀπόδ

this is from https://bibletranslation.ws/trans/revwgrk.pdf
which is heavily annotated -
the annotation for 341 ( that verse) is:

1 18:5 txt ἐκολλήθησαν (piled up) ℵ A C P 046 051 ƒ 2 922 1 6 1611 1 2 1 41 2 4 2 3

error, that the KJV and the NKJV did not follow it. Only Young’s Literal Translation followed
it. Scrivener’s 1 94 edition may be considered a “corrected Textus Receptus.” Once again, the
manuscripts 296 and 2049 do not count, as they are hand-written copies of printed TR
editions, after the fact.
342 18:6a txt omit ℵ A C P 0

and as you can see they are not sure if it is - piled up ἐκολλήθησαν or an alternative reading meaning - - "followed"
