Since my teeenage years...

When I became a christan and then studied the bible in depth.

I then became a non believer in religion but thought that there MAY be something to it

Eventually began exporing religion and the occult.

Got heavelly involved in the occult....

(realized that it was all about belief)

(to the point of been the token sceptic of a paranormal research team)

 

and then fobbed of by everyone, lol.

I used to go to Sunday school because my friend went.

I've invited Jehovah's Witnesses into my house because I was lonely. I hung around a church on a Sunday morning hoping to be welcomed in. I went to a Spiritualist Church because I wanted to believe in it. 

Sorry, but I don't believe in any of it now.

The Bible tells us clearly not to get involved in the occult. For a Christian occult involvement is very dangerous.

Probably decades too late to tell you this, Nailit, but there is still a way back. You are can still be healed and delivered

I started to research the occult after finding nothing in christianity. The claims of the (Christian) supernatural never met up with reality. The claims of faith healers etc.

Started of my journey after that with spiritualism, found nothing apart from self deciet.

Started to delve deeper and became a member of a paranormal research group and found the same, I became the token sceptic...

Researched numerous occult societies, read hundreds of books about the occult, experimented with ouija boards, seances, tarot etc......and found NOTHING.

I certainly wasnt demon possessed as some would have thought. Just a regular guy searching for something more.

No God, No demons, no supernatural events,

I am just a result of hunreds of thousands of people having sex....including my parents.

Same goes for billions of animals (Most of whom are now extinct) Past and present.

Every living thing, past and present, has been the result of animals wishing to have sex

Nailit, If you attended a Pentecostal Church for any period you would have been warned of the dangers of the occult. It is one of the things they major on.

There is a physical realm and a spiritual realm. I would argue the spiritual realm is more real than the physical realm.

Very few people are out and out Satanists, but they are out there, but many people are decieved into thinking that horoscopes, spiritulism and tarot cards are harmless fun, but they are as Joe Biden might put it part of the other team.

Involvement in freemasonry, for one example, can bring dangerous and enduring curses not only on yourself, but also on your children and even down the generations.

If you still have occult material in your home just burn it. You will notice a difference in your life

I too studied Theology, then the occult, I have about thirty books, buried in the garden years ago upon the subject. 

I also flirted with alcohol for a while, but have a natural for disinclination to it.
Finding out what it's all about has devoured many a curious person. I do think, therefore here I am.

I was a pentecostal christian for many years and yes, I was warned of the dangers of the occult

How do you know that? I never found it?

Its far from fun for those that believe such tripe but its no more real than imagining that you are going to heaven because a corpse rose from the dead 2000 years ago!

I had an uncle who was a freemason. His 3 kids (my cousins) have all done pretty well in life so far with distinguised military careers amongst other things.

I have plenty of occult material in my home including the works of Aleister Crowley and Anton Lavey. I also have quite a lot of Christian material in my home including several Bibles and christian apologetic books. Plus several other religious writings.

I remain a freethinker now.

Occult books or religious tomes are neither here nor there.
