how do muslims in norway or other countrys in the north work around the fact that if ramadan falls within summer months when the sun doesnt set. when can you eat?

Apparently they would observe the times as if they were in Mecca.

Also those on long journeys can be exempted and can fast the missed days at a later date.

Incidently the insane are not required to fast - If you ask me anyone living above the artic circle definately qualifies for that exemption
