Has anyone in the public at large (excluding clergy etc) actually read the bible fully or do we all rely on the brainwashing excerpts sold to us when were schoolchildren?

I've read the Bible many times through, (not in one sitting !), over the years.
Generally I read a chapter a day as part of my own daily readings, and would also work my way more slowly through a particular book once or twice a week for deeper study.
I've always found my Bible reading a source of encouragement and blessing, and that small time spent with God is well worth it.
That, coupled with prayer is the foundation of successful Christian living.

Been through it a couple of times or more.

(2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17) All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
The CaTHOLIC CHURCH teaches the Trinity doctrine. Has done so for two thousand years, since Constantine. Doesn't make it correct.
The word is not even in the Bible.
Jesus never mentioned a triune God.
Work it out for yourself.
