As Clanad says, (and thats the shortest answer i've seen you give my friend), the Bible Old and new Testament says nothing about Cremation, for or against it, but you mught find this link interesting.

Pretty much as said above. It was discouraged in the early church on the basis that the body was sacred, but it was never forbidden if that is what you are alluding to.
