The only sad thing is that such a huge talent and immense knowledge is being wasted on a website where people even do not show their real name.

I have never said that I am very knowledgeable person. I admit that I have no knowledge at all. But if worldly knowledge could have solved the problems then I am sure people with 100 times more knowledge than Waldo have been & gone. And Yes they did show their real name as well. I would say Waldo should come out of darkness and challenge few people to prove in public what he is trying to prove. Now I am sure Waldo would be aware of the people who are giving people like us bad ideas. So Waldo should try stopping those people. Until then we will carry on with very limited knowledge as to tell the truth (what you think truth is) you do not need too much knowledge. And you see people who are against Muslim complete Veil (even I am against that) they one big reason that if student can not see teacher's face how can they learn. Your this teacher is doing the same thing.

I can�t say that I like or loathe anyone particularly - religious or otherwise. Each individual can have opinions that I can share or dispute. In the end I just treat everyone equally. Some people don�t like that.

Sherman � Waldo did not prove Quran wrong, You imagined he did, and he decided that whatever he was saying was right. Although English is not my first language (you can confirm that with Waldo) but in simple words people call it Propaganda. If someone claimed that Mohammed was a rich cleric who could read and write, you could open up a copy of the Koran and clearly show that that was utterly untrue, that Mohammed was a poor and uneducated man. You wouldn't need them to accept the Koran was in any respect true, you would just need them to read the words on the page.

Similarly, if someone claimed that evolution states that homo sapiens evolved from monkeys, and it was explained to them that this was wrong, and that all they had to do was open up a textbook about evolution and they could read from the page that both monkeys and humans evolved from a common ancestor (they wouldn't have to accept evolution, merely understand the words on the page) and then they repeated that statement, would it not be reasonable to think that person was either less than mentally competant or medacious..?
