Believe it or not, Led Zeppelin passed me by, as I was just married and busy making lots of babies, and then coping with the resultant responsibilities.
(I know, we should have bought a telly instead, but thre you go).
My musical tastes were therefore dominated by what I heard in the late sixties, and very early seventies.
King Crimson, Family, Cream, Blind Faith, Hendrix, Quintessence, Hawkwind, Traffic, The Band, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Moody Blues, Beatles post '67, Stones, Dylan, Arlo Guthrie, Leonard Cohen, ....(phew) .... and I loved the bands on the "samplers / compilations" that were doing the rounds. I still recall the lyrics of many of them.
No wonder my head is wrecked these days!
