Sikhs

I don't see that many Sikhs in the UK, but when I do I always feel they look so dignified and smart.

They are never scruffy, never rude (unlike muslims) and I always think the elder statesmen of their religion have the most fabulous beards with very dapper curls on the tips of their moustaches.

Has anybody else ever thought this?

I worked in a factory with several Sikhs. I can honestly say that I've never known more honourable,decent and loving people. So my answer is Yes.

I always think they look very well dressed, dignified , and well-mannered - so yes, I'd agree with you.

I have always found the Sikhs to be well advanced compared to the utterly primitive beliefs that prevail in India. They reject the disgusting caste system that dominates the pathetic Indian cultures.

Still, they suspend intellignece in the face of religious faith and are therefore inexorably stupid.

We have a lot of Sikhs where I live and in the main, they're lovely people - very peaceable and caring. They make a big point of telling us that anyone is welcome in their Gurdhwara, and they will always offer food if you go. They also do a heck of a lot for charity, and not just Indian based charities either.

That's not to say I haven't met and worked with many people of the Islamic religion who are also decent, clean, hard-working people who would share their last morsel of food, their last penny with you.

I daresay there are a good many decent Christians out there too. Thing is, I don't seem to have met many of them yet. Actually, some of the loveliest 'religious' people I know are Pagans and Wiccans.
